The heart and intent of our activities is the support of our clients in their desire to build and sustain healthy and successful working environments. To do this, we use drums and percussion with facilitation to create good group dynamics. Whether it is a short “icebreaker” or “energiser” that you request or a more extended session lasting from an hour to a whole day, you will find that group percussion contributes significantly to wellbeing and positive relationships within your organisation. · Team building
Rhythm as a shared activity encourages communication and enhances co- operation. Drumming is a powerful team builder.

· Communication skills
In order to make music, members of a percussion group have both to listen and play, to hear as well as be heard. They also have to learn to give and take space within the developing piece of music – this discipline provides compelling models for harmonious communication.

· Powerful metaphors
The ebb and flow of the dynamics and activity of group percussion offer powerful metaphors for the ordering of organisations. Through skilled facilitation, groups and individuals can perceive issues with a greater clarity and be inspired for their future work.

Rhythm is the interplay of sound and silence and is formed by the spaces between movement itself and the anticipation of movement. To sense this interplay of rest and activity is stimulating and enjoyable, and enriches understanding of the balances necessary for physical and mental wellbeing. Also absorption in rhythmic patterns can make time seem to stand still – this creates for participants a sense that they are “living in the moment” and is an effective countermeasure against stress.
